Tacoma Sunset

Tuesday means it's time for Ruby Tuesday and My World Tuesday and amazingly I'm able to pull double duty out of one photo. :-)

Yesterday when I was returning home from an Operation: Love Reunited photo shoot, I saw that the setting sun was casting a pink shade of color on Mt Rainier. As much as I wanted to head home and just put my feet up for a wee bit, I couldn't let this pass, so I headed to my favorite elevated spot to get this photo.

Copy of Op1 159

Today I share with you one of our Tacoma Sunsets. :-) I love living here.

  16. Beautiful, beautiful. The last time we were in Seattle (about this time last year) Rainier didn't want to come out behind the clouds. Magnificent shot.

  19. Rainier is a beautiful mount, and nice how Seattle locals can get a glimpse of this most of the time. However, the pink almost gives this an organic look, as if it is truly alive and not merely a giant rock!
