When I heard about the subject for this weeks Round Robin Challenge I had ideas of sharing some photos of my dog as a puppy growing, or possibly of my own children growing.
Then it hit me, it would mean I'd have to scan photos to do either of those entries. Right now my scanner isn't playing nice. Besides, it would be nice to have some new current photos to use!
As I was walking into the house a few days ago I found my subject for this photo challenge. Off to my right as I enter my house is a large colorful Rhododendron bush.
I photographed the same bud as it grew into this bright large blossom over the week.
Be sure to check out the other photographers who have participated in this weeks Round Robin Challenge.
Rhodies are my all time favorites. You got some great shots of growing!
ReplyDeleteVery cool progress shots!
ReplyDeleteI played too ... with a non-growing pic :)

Ahh what a pretty Rhoddie! Love the series of blooming...
ReplyDeleteI'm awed by your captures and the colors. Great photos that fit the RR theme so perfectly.
ReplyDeleteDo visit my blog, I value your comment. Take care.
Stunning series of photos, from bud to bloom. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI see we had similar ideas... though I couldn't execute the concept in quite the same way. I love the idea of a series like this... it really illustrates the "growth" part of "Growing". Nice work!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful set! These challenges do help us to notice things, don't they.
ReplyDeleteLovely series of a beautiful flower!
ReplyDeleteStunning series, you certainly captured it perfectly for the growing challenge. Well done! :)
ReplyDeleteNice series Monica! I didn't play along with the robins this week but I'm all signed up for the next one :-)
